2nd. Finnish–Hungarian–Estonian symposium

 

In 2017, the Finnish–Hungarian–Estonian symposium will be hosted by the Hungarian Ethnographic Society. Invited to apply are primarily Finnish, Hungarian, and Estonian ethnographers, ethnologists, and anthropologists, in accordance with tradition and in the spirit of cooperation between the three countries. The conference will be in Transylvania (Kolozsvár/Cluj, 9–13 May 2017) with the collaboration of the János Kriza Ethnographic Society. The theme will be Departure and Arrival: Migratory Processes and Local Responses from Ethnographic and Anthropological Perspective. You will find the detailed description and CFP in the attachment (deadline is 30 September 2016).

Our plan is that the participants will go together from Budapest to Kolozsvár by bus. The calculated fee will cover the transportation from Budapest to Kolozsvár (and back), the accommodation, meal and trip there. I will send the details later.

2. Finn–magyar–észt néprajzi szimpózium

 

2017-ben a Magyar Néprajzi Társaság rendezi meg a finn-magyar néprajzi szimpóziumból 2013-ban finn–magyar–észt néprajzi szimpóziummá bővült szakmai összejövetelét. A hagyományokhoz híven az országok közti együttműködés jegyében a szimpóziumra elsősorban finn, magyar, észt etnográfusok, etnológusok, antropológusok jelentkezését várjuk.

A szimpózium helyszíne Kolozsvár lesz a Kriza János Néprajzi Társasággal való együttműködve, időpontja 2017. május 9–13.

 

A találkozó témája Indulás és megérkezés: migrációs folyamatok és lokális válaszok néprajzi, antropológiai olvasatban, melyhez kapcsolódó leírás és jelentkezés módja a mellékletben olvasható.

A jelentkezés határideje 2016. szeptember 30.
